Our client, a global automotive manufacturing leader , is seeking a Transmission Development & Validation Engineer to join their team. As a Transmission Development & Validation Engineer , you will be part of the Powertrain Engineering Department supporting the Transmission Development, Validation, and Vehicle Testing Teams . The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Transmission Development & Validation Engineer
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Pay Range: $50/hr
What’s the Job?

Lead automatic transmission development and validation activities.
-
Support transmission testing, instrumentation setup, debugging, and execution.

Analyze test data, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.

Collaborate with hardware, software, calibration, thermal, and engine engineering teams.

Manage validation plans, test schedules, documentation, and release activities.
What’s Needed?
-
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of automotive powertrain experience with automatic transmission systems.

Experience with transmission development, validation, testing, or release activities.
-
Familiarity with ETAS INCA and/or Vector CANalyzer.
-
Ability to work onsite in Auburn Hills, MI and travel up to 20% within North America.
