Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Facilities/Maintenance Technician is a hands-on role responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation a chemical manufacturing company in St. Paul. This individual will maintain and troubleshoot building systems, including HVAC, boilers, chillers, electrical, plumbing, controls, and specialized laboratory equipment, while helping ensure preventative maintenance activities stay on schedule. The role also supports building automation system operations, oversees outside contractors, and assists with facility improvement projects. As a senior-level technician, this person will serve as a resource to the maintenance team, helping coordinate daily work, solve complex maintenance issues, and maintain a safe, professional, and efficient facility environment. This position is fully onsite and offers a salary range between $89,000-$96,000 depending on skills and experiences.

Skills and Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Building Automation System (BAS/BMS) experience

5+ years of experience with direct hands on laboratory maintenance with a understanding of HVAC, boilers, chillers, controls, and how building systems interact

1st Class C, B, or A Boiler License (or ability to obtain within 6 months) CMMS software experience (MVP One or similar)

Johnson Controls Metasys experience

Corporate headquarters maintenance experience

Project management or contractor coordination experience

Experience reading electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
