Pharmacist (Full-Time) | Clinical Specialist – Ogdensburg Campus Impact patient care at a leading regional medical center.
The Opportunity We are seeking a Full-Time Pharmacist to join our clinical team at the Claxton Campus in Ogdensburg (https://www.ogdensburgny.gov/) . This position is central to achieving superior patient outcomes through clinical assessment, specialized therapy management, and expert consultation. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will provide dedicated support to our inpatient and specialty services.

Schedule & Setting

Hours: Day Shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM).

Location: 100% On-Site at the Ogdensburg Campus (Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center (https://www.claxtonhepburn.org/) ).

Call: Once-a-month weekend call.
Core Responsibilities

Clinical Assessment: Monitor prescribed drug therapies for safety and effectiveness across diverse patient populations within the facility.

Consultation: Partner with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize medication utilization and hospital resources.

Patient Education: Participate in direct patient teaching and discharge counseling.

Compliance: Maintain QA and regulatory standards to ensure the highest level of departmental pharmacy practice.
Requirements

Licensure: Current NYS Pharmacy License (upcoming graduates welcome!)

Certification: Current BLS Certification.

Experience: Hospital experience is heavily preferred (Retail experience will be considered).

Knowledge: Proficiency in specialized hospital pharmacy functions and clinical information systems.

Pay & Benefits

Grade 8 Range: $64.07 – $84.89/hour
