Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide athletic training services for a high school in Laurinburg, NC. This is a full-time opportunity for a healthcare professional who is passionate about supporting student-athletes through injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and emergency care.

The ideal candidate will be available to start as soon as possible and must be willing to provide coverage for athletic events, including Friday evening football games .

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services to high school student-athletes.

• Assess, treat, and manage athletic injuries and illnesses.

• Develop and implement injury prevention and rehabilitation programs.

• Provide emergency medical care and coordinate referrals when necessary.

• Maintain accurate documentation and treatment records.

• Collaborate with coaches, administrators, physicians, and parents regarding athlete care.

• Monitor athlete health and readiness for participation.

• Attend practices, games, and school athletic events as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field.

• Current BOC Certification (Board of Certification).

• Current North Carolina Athletic Trainer License (or ability to obtain).

• CPR/AED certification.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Availability to work evenings and provide coverage on Friday nights during football season.
