About the Role
We are hiring a Principal Software Engineer to join our team of experts.
Come work with us and help shape the future of diabetes therapy. You will design and implement software, security solutions, and data pipelines for MiniMed’s Diabetes devices that will provide patients with data-driven therapy. You will be a focal point in defining the direction for new products and processes based on business strategy, with a significant impact.
You will work in a heterogeneous team composed of Data Engineers, Software Engineers, QA Engineers, and Security Experts.
Responsibilities:

Build a production scale and robust infrastructure

Lead designs of complex data flows and security solutions for diabetes therapy devices

Design and implement cloud architecture, collecting and processing data from services and medical devices
-
Explore and introduce new technologies to advance systems and therapy
-
Drive initiatives to evolve architecture and methodologies
Requirements:
-
7+ years Full Stack / Backend Developer experience
-
Experience in designing and running production workloads on AWS/GCP/Azure
-
Experience with large-scale data processing pipelines and applications
-
Experience with at least one of the following: Kubernetes, Serverless architectures, Stream Processing, Terraform

B.Sc. in computer science or a STEM degree / an equivalent military background
Advantage:

Experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, React

Experience with advanced cybersecurity solutions for IoT systems
-
Medical background is a plus
