Azuria Water Solutions is looking for an experienced Director of Manufacturing to join our team managing our ISO 9001, VPP recognized facility, based in Batesville, MS. Azuria and its family of companies shield and protect the world's infrastructure from degradation and corrosion with a variety of technologies. Azuria's businesses comprise sewer, drinking water and energy and mining pipeline rehabilitation and corrosion protection for and strengthening of bridges, tunnels, buildings, waterfront, metal, and concrete structures. For more information, visit www.Azuria.com Summary of Position The Director of Manufacturing will report to the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain and will be an integral part of our Supply Chain Team. The Director of Manufacturing will lead a multi-shift production operation of 150+ employees in the high-capacity production of cured-in-place pipe lining (CIPP). This position requires a dynamic leader as they interface with multiple levels and disciplines within the organization. The Director of Manufacturing will have full ownership of a P&L, delivering $36M EBITDA annually and will be responsible for driving and working cross-functionally to deliver on other KPI’s, such as, but not limited to: OEE, EHS, Quality, On-Time Delivery, Productivity, and Inventory. This is a transformative leadership opportunity, requiring the candidate to develop and drive the team to be best in class and the pre-eminent supplier of CIPP liners. This position is based at the plant in Batesville, MS, 60 miles south of Memphis and 30 miles west of Oxford, MS. This position will require working across multiple shifts and ~10% travel. Responsibilities Develop teams through mentorship and drive a positive culture, that works cross-functionally across our business. Establish clear goals to ensure adherence to annual targets. Create a safety focused culture with our EHS Team to ensure compliance with written safety procedures and regulations as mandated by our internal policies and external agencies such as OSHA and other local / federal agencies. Maintain VPP Ensure compliance with all processes and work instruction, from Production to Distribution, comply with our internal Quality Management System (QMS). Lead continuous improvements using Lean, Six Sigman, and other continuous improvement methods. Drive accountability across entire organization by developing and adhering to key KPI’s ranging from Production and Quality (OEE) to Delivery (On Time Delivery). Work cross-functionally with finance team on annual budget and monthly operating calls. Responsible for developing maintenance, labor, production, CAPEX, cost out, and other models with your team. Identify plant CAPEX improvement and automation efforts with Maintenance and Engineering to improve production line throughput, product quality, as well as reducing PLC and other machine obsolescence. Manage CAPEX projects and annual shutdowns adhering to budget and timelines. Partner with our internal and external customers to achieve world-class product quality and delivery. Participate in product quality reviews and work cross-functionally with our Quality and Services teams to improve processes, manufacturability, and work instructions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, operations management, or supply chain. 10+ years of experience in managing and leading a production facility with the highest focus on quality and customer delivery. History of developing and transforming organizations and holding teams accountable for meeting KPI’s. Understanding of key financial statements and levers associated with managing costs, developing budgets, and managing CAPEX projects. Broad understanding of Supply Chain concepts, such as demand planning, buying, inventory management, and S&OP. Critical thinking skills with ability to independently mine, transform, and analyze large amounts of data using various systems and data analytics tools. Executive level written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with using ERP, MES, CMMS, and other software used to manage a plant. Ability to travel domestically ~10% of the time. Desired Skills MBA, other advanced degrees or certifications, such as: CPIM, or PMP. Experience and understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Black Belt of Master Black Belt. Prior history of enacting change both organizationally and across processes. Knowledge of big data, working in Power BI, and ability digitize KPI’s. Business acumen with ability to translate results to balance sheet. Experience in infrastructure construction, manufacturing, and or subcontracting. Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
