About the Role: Join ComForCare Home Health Care - Washington Ozaukee as a Caregiver in Jackson, WI, where you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. This rewarding position allows you to provide compassionate care and support to individuals in need, ensuring they maintain their independence and dignity. Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.

  • Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.

  • Help with meal preparation and dietary needs, ensuring nutritional requirements are met.

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to hygiene standards.

  • Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to the care team.

  • Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.

  • Collaborate with family members and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving preferred.

  • Previous experience in home health care or a related field is a plus.

  • Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a strong desire to help others.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.

  • Must pass background checks and drug screenings as mandated by state regulations.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

  • Basic first aid and CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory.
