Job Title: Material Handler II
Location: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Penfield Warehouse – Fairport, NY
Schedule: 3rd shift / Sunday through Thursday / 10:30pm - 7:00am + Weekend Mandatory OT
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour
MUST HAVE 1 year of experience with stand-up forklifts
Job Description
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Material Handler II and play a vital role in our warehouse operations. You'll be responsible for efficient and accurate handling of materials, supporting daily workflow, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities

Receive, store, and issue materials and supplies within the warehouse
-
Document movement of goods accurately using inventory systems
-
Assist and participate in inventory counts and cycle counts
-
Operate material handling equipment—such as pallet jacks and forklifts—safely and efficiently
-
Keep the work area clean and organized

Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Qualifications
-
Previous experience in warehouse or material handling (preferred)

MUST HAVE 1 year of experience with stand-up forklifts

Ability to operate material handling equipment safely

Capable of standing, lifting, and moving up to 50 lbs throughout the shift

Strong organizational and communication skills

High school diploma or equivalent required
