Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Certified Phlebotomists to support the Reno VA Medical Center located at 975 Kirman Ave, Reno, NV 89502. Services will be delivered to all requesting departments throughout the facility on a range of shift schedules. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers. Responsibilities

Venipuncture and specimen collection

Specimen processing and packaging

Floor draws and draw station operations

Compliance with safety, infection control, and Joint Commission standards

Documentation and record accuracy
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (i.e. CPT License or Diploma)
-
Completion of an approved phlebotomy training course (or equivalent)

American Heart Association (AHA) CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS)
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 3 years as a patient service technician/phlebotomist
-
Proficiency in the following: blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, urine drug screen collections, paternity collections, breath/saliva alcohol testing, LCM/Cyber Tools, TestCup, pediatric blood collections, and difficult draws

All candidates must be able to:

Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift

Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist

Lift up to 20 lbs

Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance

Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
