We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is willing and eager to learn in a fast paced steel mill environment. This job requires to be scheduled on call once fully trained, work outdoors in all weather conditions, ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds and pass a drug screen.
Job Responsibilities:

Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and modifying overhead crane systems.

Perform maintenance and repairs on outdoor overhead cranes and other equipment on site in all types of weather conditions.

Work independently, or as part of a crew, to diagnose electrical and mechanical problems with equipment in heavy industrial manufacturing facilities.

Identify needed parts and repair procedures

You will be trained to perform your duties and evaluated periodically.
Motor control experience on systems with AC or DC power is desired but will be trained accordingly.

You will be trained to perform documented safety inspections on specific types of equipment in keeping with OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or GED

Eligible to work various shifts.

Skills and experience in welding, electrical and mechanical maintenance preferred.

Team approach to problem solving.

Ability to interface with internal and external customers.

Ability to work outside in all types of weather, and work from heights.
