Full job description
About Arcturus
Arcturus is building a new kind of electrical conductor technology to help modernize the systems that power our lives.
We believe better materials can unlock a very real impact in the world around us: lower-cost electrification, a stronger and more resilient grid, and infrastructure that can carry more power with less waste. This kind of improvement has the potential to help reduce over 500M tonnes of CO2 emissions, lower the risk of catastrophic wildfires by enabling safer and more capable transmission infrastructure, and make it cheaper and easier to deliver electricity where people need it most.
At the end of the day, we’re building Arcturus because we think the physical backbone of energy transmission matters. We can make that backbone stronger, more efficient, more scalable, and directly help improve the lives of millions of people.
Why you should join us
This is a ground-floor opportunity to help build something that has never been done before.
You would join as an early operations co-op and help build the systems that keep a fast-moving startup organized. This is a great role for someone who wants to not only learn but shape how an early-stage company actually runs, contribute across many functions, and become a force multiplier for the team.
Purpose
We are seeking an Operations Co-op who can support project management, recruiting coordination, internal operations, company communications, research, and special projects.
This role is for someone who is excited to wear many hats, learn quickly, and help wherever needed. You do not need years of experience. You do need to be organized, proactive, curious, trustworthy, and excited to work in a startup environment.

-
Able to handle shifting priorities and move quickly without losing track of details
-

Preferred qualifications
-
Prior internship, part-time role, or project experience in operations, executive support, recruiting, project management, communications, or a startup environment
-
Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Project Management Software (Jira, Kanbanchi, Trello, ClickUp), Confluence, Ashby, Canva, Affinity, and the Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc.)

What we offer
-
Up to a one-year co-op experience with direct exposure to early-stage startup operations
-
The chance to work closely with the Founder and CEO and help build company systems from the ground up
-
Real ownership over projects that make the company more organized, efficient, and effective
-
Exposure to recruiting, operations, project management, communications, and deeptech company building
If this role excites you, even if you do not check every box, we’d love to hear from you. We’d rather work with a fast learner who cares deeply about the work than someone with years of experience but little curiosity.
