Join Seven Hills Rhode Island as an Assistant Residential Director of Specialized Programs and help create meaningful opportunities for individuals to live, grow, and thrive in their communities.
In this hands-on leadership role, you'll provide direct support to participants while assisting with the day-to-day operations of a residential program. You'll help supervise and develop staff, coordinate schedules, support individualized service plans, promote community integration, and ensure high-quality, person-centered services.
Responsibilities

Provide direct support and serve as a role model for staff through coaching and mentorship.

Assist with supervision, training, scheduling, and development of residential team members.

Support implementation of individualized service plans, behavioral supports, and healthcare needs.

Promote participant independence, choice, dignity, and community inclusion.

Assist with program operations, participant funds, staffing budgets, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with families, guardians, clinical teams, and community partners.

Participate in on-call responsibilities and help oversee operations in the absence of the Residential Director.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum one year of supervisory experience preferred.

Prior experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or related human services experience preferred.

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.

Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
