Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct diverse and complex mechanical and electrical tests on Milwaukee’s line of products and competitive products.

  • Determineproduct conformance to the test specifications.

  • Perform tests using a variety of electrical and mechanical test equipment and techniques

  • Prepare reports of test results and make recommendations.

  • Exercise responsibility for thoroughness,timelinessand accuracy in preparing technical reports on tests performed.

  • Prepare these reportsutilizinga PC with word processing, database,spreadsheetandstatistical/graphical software.

  • Instruct and assign work to Engineering Technicians.

Job Requirements

  • Requires an education equivalent to a technicalAssociate Degree.

  • Excellent organization& communicationskills.

  • 3+ years of experience with test equipment, test procedures and methods, mechanical/electrical principles.

  • HighproficiencyofComputer Skillsand Microsoft Office products.

  • Knowledge of test concepts in the design and development of products and components.

  • Strong knowledge of Meters, Oscilloscopes, torquewrenches, handtoolsrequired.

  • PC hardware and software knowledge with the ability to program inLabview, VisualBasic and PLC’sispreferred.

  • Knowledge of Dynamometers, powermeters, power supplies, automated test equipmenta plus.
