Licensed Psychiatric Technician - Soledad, CA

Pay Rate: $50.45 / hour

Shift:

T hurs-Mon from 6:00A-2:30P

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the care and supervision of patients with mental health or psychiatric disorders.

  • Monitor patient behavior and report significant changes to the healthcare team.

  • Support patients with daily living activities, hygiene, and personal care.

  • Assist with therapeutic activities and treatment programs.

  • Observe and document patient progress, behaviors, and responses to treatment.

  • Help maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.

  • Respond appropriately to behavioral crises using approved intervention techniques.

  • Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transportation within the facility.

  • Promote patient dignity, confidentiality, and emotional well-being.

  • Comply with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

**Minimum Qualifications **

  • Current, valid, and unrestrictedCA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Minimum of 1 yearof recent experience as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician.

  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
