Our client, a leading manufacturer of disposable food packaging products, is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to join their team in Leola, PA.
You'll lead high‑impact engineering and manufacturing initiatives — from process improvement and equipment implementation to facility-driven innovation projects.

Responsibilities

Lead complex projects from initiation to delivery, managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources.

Influence and coordinate across engineering, design, manufacturing, IT, procurement, and more.

Develop project plans, staffing strategies, and business cases that get buy-in at all levels.

Navigate ambiguity with confidence, defining clear goals and deliverables.
-
Oversee product requirements, technical assessments, prototyping, and production approvals.
-
Track milestones, manage risks, and communicate progress with clarity and impact.

Mentor other project managers and elevate the engineering project management discipline.
Qualifications:
-
Requires one of the following:
-
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in engineering, business, or a technical related field of study and three (3) years of project management related experience, OR
-
Associate degree and eight (8) years project management related experience, OR
-
High school diploma or equivalent and twelve (12) years of project management related experience
-
Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment
-
Hands-on experience with equipment installation, commissioning, or removal projects
-
Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects, and priorities
-
Ability to establish project plans, regularly monitor and track progress on work projects, and communicate with project partners
-
Demonstrated ability to work independently with general supervision
-
Excellent verbal and written skills necessary to communicate intricate job-related processes
-
Demonstrated ability to understand and apply financial analysis
-
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of products
-
Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams.

Knowledge of SAP and Stage Gate preferred
-
Project management training or training in project management related fields to include risk, quality, and scheduling preferred

PMP Certification preferred
