Job Duties

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Assistant - Remote position with a Renowned Healthcare Organization located in Rochester, MN. This is a contract opportunity. This position is fully remote.

Compensation: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:

This role works under a Project Manager to assist in the planning and execution of projects. The position will focus on providing project coordination support for Complex Change Requests (CCRs) within a Clinical Systems PMO, ensuring timely execution and alignment between technical and practice teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the initiation, development, and implementation of projects

Maintain schedules and calendars for assigned projects

Assist the Project Manager in planning, monitoring, and executing project tasks

Support project communications and coordination during meetings, status reporting, and stakeholder relationships

Provide strong customer service support to internal and external team members

Assist project team members in tracking integrated tasks on a daily basis

Coordinate intake validation, scoping, timeline development, deliverable tracking, and meeting documentation

Primary Requirements:

Associate's degree in business, healthcare, finance or other related field

Minimum of 3 years of business experience, including participation on a project team

Strong coordination and organizational skills

Experience managing timelines, deliverables, follow-up items, and meeting documentation

Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders and work across multiple teams

Attention to detail and ability to track work in structured systems

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)

Demonstrated skill in using desktop/office efficiency tools (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)

Desired Skills:

Prior experience with planning and scheduling methodologies

Experience in healthcare operations, clinical systems, project coordination, or PMO environments

Familiarity with Epic-related workflows, ServiceNow, Clarity, or similar tracking tools

Experience supporting cross-functional technology or workflow optimization initiatives

Exposure to AI, automation, or digital health initiatives
