Jordan Health is now seeking aMedical Records Clerkwho, under the guidance of the Director of Health Information Management/Privacy Officer, is primarily responsible for providing accurate, timely and complete scanning and indexing of all medical information.

Requirements

TheMedical Records Clerkwill ensure to:

  • Scan and indexes all medical documentation correctly in the electronic medical record.

  • Review all inactive provider laboratory reports and distributes appropriately.

  • Processing of all incoming electronic faxes and incoming mail on a daily basis and distributes to appropriate staff.

  • Responsible for the complete record integrity, maintenance and proper record keeping.

  • Other duties as required.

Education And Experience Required:

  • Minimum High School Diploma.

  • Medical terminology

  • RHIT/Medical Assisting certification preferred.

Licenses And Certifications Required:

  • RHIT Certified Preferred.

Special Skills, Knowledge Required:

  • Computer knowledge

  • Ability to multitask
