Cleveland Films is hosting an ON-SITE HIRING EVENT Thursday 8/20/26 from 7AM-4PM!

Shift: Rotating Day & Night Shifts (5:50 AM – 6:00 PM / 5:50 PM – 6:00 AM)

Pay: $25.09/hr + $2.00/hr shift differential

Job Type: Full-time

Position Overview

Join Avery Dennison as a Coating Machine Operator. We are seeking a mechanically curious, results-driven professional to take ownership of our high-speed manufacturing lines. In this role, you will safely set up, operate, and maintain production equipment while driving quality control and operational excellence. If you enjoy troubleshooting mechanical systems and working with a collaborative, high-performing team, this role is for you.

Core Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: Safely set up, run, and change over complex coating machinery, monitors, and winding consoles.

  • Troubleshooting: Use mechanical aptitude and curiosity to diagnose root causes of equipment malfunctions early, completing minor repairs to reduce downtime.

  • Quality Control: Follow strict SOP guidelines and use precision measuring tools to conduct quality inspections, ensuring products meet specifications.

  • Process Monitoring: Read digital gauges, meters, and flow ratios to adjust temperatures and pressures for continuous, optimal flow.

  • Team Collaboration: Maintain accurate digital logs while championing a "Team Before Self" environment to meet safe production goals.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and analytical troubleshooting skills.

  • Digital Fluency: Comfortable navigating computer applications for data entry and production tracking.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand/walk up to 80% of a shift; lift up to 50 lbs; and bend, reach, or squat frequently.

  • Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to shifting priorities.
