What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, staff, and program participants by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.

Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.

Help maintain a welcoming and professional environment for individuals receiving services while communicating observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:

Possess a New York State Security Guard License.

Be 21 years of age or older.
-
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Hold CPR Certification, preferred.
-
Hold CPR/First Aid Certification, preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
-
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
