Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the planning, administering, and directing speech therapy services cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, pulmonary and medical-surgical patients

  • Educate patient and family members in recommendations for diet modifications

  • Work with interdisciplinary team for plan of care

  • Knowledge of hospital, Joint Commission, state and federal guidelines

Requirements:

    • Master's degree in speech-language pathology required.
  • NYS SLP license and registration.

  • Previous hospital experience preferred

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to staff members, management peers, hospital administration.

  • Prior experience with EPIC preferred

  • Prior experience with Modified Barium Swallow study required

  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.

  • Experience with trach/vent population required.

Salary Range

USD $66.78 - USD $66.78 /Hr.
