Applications for part-time Secondary Education Adjunct Faculty will be accepted on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as needed. Please make sure to include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, as well as a copy of graduate transcripts when applying for this position.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for visa sponsorship. The University will not sponsor applicants for work visas (e.g., H-1B).

Job Summary

Secondary Education Adjunct Faculty assist with the instructional delivery of courses taken by secondary education undergraduate and graduate majors including those in alternate route licensure programs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Secondary Education adjunct faculty teach up to 6 hours [Two 3-hour courses] per semester. Typical courses focus on Classroom Management, Curriculum, Pedagogy, and Internship Supervision.

Duties include:

  • Instruction in traditional and online formats

  • Assessment of student learning outcomes

  • Supervision of field experiences

  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

  • Performance of other duties as assigned
