Full job description
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking Classroom Aides for the 2025–2026 school year within the Orange County Unified School Districts. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the educational development of students across Orange County!

In this role, Classroom Aides will:

Provide direct support to students requiring behavioral interventions.
-
Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to manage maladaptive and aggressive behaviors.

Support students in staying on track with academic tasks, including homework and classwork.

Collaborate with school staff and supervisors to ensure students receive consistent and effective behavioral support.

Support in both special education and general education classrooms

Minimum High School Diploma or College degree preferred
-
Full Time, Part Time, or On-Call Substitutes
-
Availability at least 2–5 weekdays per week (Full time & Part time)
-
Flexibility between 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
What We Offer:

Morning & Day shifts - 8:00am - 3:00pm

Afterschool Shifts - 12pm-6pm

Competitive Pay Rate - up to $25 / Hour

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required
-
Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred

Current CPR if applicable

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
-
Must be at least 18 years of age
