?? Location: Peninsula Region (Elementary Schools) ?? Hours: 37.5 per week ?? Contract Length: 38 weeks ?? Start Date: September 1, 2026 ?? Openings: 1 ?? Interview: Yes — with SPED Director

? About the Role

The Occupational Therapist (OT) plays a vital role in helping students access their education by improving functional, sensory, and motor skills. You’ll conduct evaluations, develop individualized therapy plans, and provide direct and consultative services — all while supporting a caseload capped at 55 students . This is a great opportunity for an OT who loves working in elementary settings and making a meaningful impact every day.

?? What You’ll Do

  • Perform student evaluations to identify functional, sensory, and motor needs

  • Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with each student’s goals

  • Provide direct OT services in elementary school environments

  • Document services according to each student’s plan of care

  • Collaborate with teachers, SPED teams, and administrators

  • Support a manageable caseload (capped at 55 students)

  • Participate in IEP processes as needed

?? Minimum Requirements

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice

  • One year of OT experience preferred

  • Compliance with all professional standards of practice

  • CPR certification (if applicable)

  • TB test or chest X-ray (as required)

  • Health certificate (as required)

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Local OT Rate: $72/hour
