Certified Medical Assistant Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant Sign-On for Eligible New Hires Work location: 80 McMakin Road Bartonville, TX 76226Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Friday (8am-5pm) Department Highlights:

Here's What You Need

High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
-
CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)
-
One year of experience as a Medical Assistant (PREFERRED)

Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) educational program with demonstrated competency in required skills - within 90 days of job entry (REQUIRED)

BCLS upon hire (REQUIRED)
What You Will Do
-
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
-
Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
-
Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician

Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
-
May work in the front office as needed
-
May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
