GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This position is the first line of contact with the patient. The Admitting Representative is responsible for obtaining demographic and financial information during the registration process to ensure the correct patient has been registered, and signatures obtained on all associated paperwork. When these functions are completed with accuracy this process will ensure patient safety through appropriate identification, maximum reimbursement for hospital charges and compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Salary Range: $16.00-$22.40
