Preferred (not required): Reading Blueprints, Using Calipers, Using Micrometers, and Operating Man-Up.

Job Description

This position is responsible for counting and verifying on-hand inventory quantities, which include raw steel and unfinished and finished product, to assure that accurate inventories are readily available to meet customer needs.

Cycle count parts in Eisenhower Drive distribution and WIP warehouses to assure inventory accuracy.

Audit warehouse operations for accuracy and correctness and recommend corrective action in the following areas to assure proper part identification and stock rotation:

o Part number

o Part description rotating stock

o Part location

o Unmarked parts

Participate as a contributing member of cross-functional teams to address and solve inventory accuracy issues.

Assist in the resolution of inventory inaccuracies to assure that inventory levels are accurately reflected to support production and customer needs.

Qualifications

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.

  • Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints.

  • Experience with using measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.

  • Experience with operating side loaders, man-up, swing reach, overhead hoists & forklifts.

  • Experience and certification with using weigh count equipment.

  • Knowledge of inventory and manufacturing systems, processes and record keeping

SKILLS:

Required:

  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

  • Data entry skills to manipulate inventory and manufacturing systems, process and record keeping.

  • Good planning and organizational skills.

  • Experience with operating forklift.
