Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist Department: Front Desk Support

Reports to: Front Desk Coordinator Effective Date: 4/30/26

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 2 pm - 10 pm

Job Summary:

As a receptionist, you will provide coverage to support the overall operations of the Association which promotes the highest quality of customer service for members, participants and the public in a profession/confidential manner.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Handles all incoming and outgoing calls, page staff and residents, and accepts and relays accurate and clearly defined messages.

  • Greets and directs public to various locations and meetings in the building.

  • Provides information to public regarding programs, workshops, membership, parking and other relevant procedures.

  • Provides program and membership information to the public, closes sales, and relays all internal communications as necessary via intercom.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Computer literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

  • Detail-orientated, organized and self-motivated.

  • Excellent communication, people and customer service skills

  • Ability to prioritize and effectively handle multiple tasks

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 18 years or older

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
