Full job description
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Eatontown, NJ
Type: Full-time, direct hire
Compensation: $65,000.00 to $68,000.00
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventative maintenance on high-speed automated production equipment, including print, fold, seal, and mail insertion systems

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and sensor issues on automated machinery
-
Respond to equipment stoppages and breakdowns, assisting with safe and timely repairs to reduce downtime

Support setup, calibration, installation, and changeovers of precision production equipment

Work with high-speed personalization and document processing systems

Complete preventative maintenance tasks and maintain accurate maintenance records

Support continuous operation of industrial mailing and postage equipment

Work closely with production and maintenance teams to improve uptime and equipment performance

Follow all safety, quality, and security procedures in a regulated production environment
Maintenance Technician Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Post high school vocational schooling/training is highly desired

Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting ability
-
Previous manufacturing, maintenance, mechanical, or technical experience preferred

Ability to safely use hand and power tools
-
Willingness to learn electrical, pneumatic, and production systems
-
Ability to read basic technical documents or schematics is a plus
-
Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Flexible and willing to work 2nd shift (Mon - Fri 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)

Willingness and ability to travel internationally for 1 - 2 weeks per year, with advance notice of about 2 months. Travel may include attendance at corporate training programs, including locations in Europe.

Experience working in manufacturing or industrial maintenance, commercial copy machines, printer technician

Forklift or mechanical repair experience is a plus

Experience with printing or production equipment is helpful but not required
