Summary About the Position: This position is with the 406TH Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, located in Fort Stewart, GA. Responsibilities Develop operational plans by aligning Installation Supply Support Activity (ISSA) mission requirements with workload needs. Evaluate supply activities by inspecting compliance to maintain efficiency. Administer contractor performance by executing surveillance requirements to ensure adherence to contract standards. Provide technical guidance by interpreting supply regulations to resolve complex operational issues. Manage automated supply systems by validating functionality to ensure precise transactions. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1. Interpret performance requirements to ensure accurate execution of supply activities.; 2. Inspect supply activities to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.; 3. Analyze inventory discrepancies to support timely corrective action. ; AND 4. Applied corrective actions to resolve discrepancies in property documentation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest. Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed (NTE) 13 Months by a current permanent Army employee. Time-limited promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years. Time-limited reassignments and changes to lower grade may exceed five years, however return rights may be impacted. Position may be made permanent without further competition.
