Job Summary:

Reporting to the CFO, the Enterprise Applications (ERP) Business Analyst is responsible for providing ERP support and guidance to the company across all departments. This person is the primary technical person responsible for the ERP and will have access to third party-consulting and development firms as resources to complete projects. Technical assistance and issue resolution with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Human Resources and Sales. Working closely with the CFO and vendors to ensure ERP process improvements, Business Systems projects and ERP activities as directed. We are seeking a skilled professional to enhance our operational efficiency through ERP system management, business analysis, and software development. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our IFS ERP system, analyzing business processes to recommend improvements, and developing solutions. This diverse role demands a unique blend of technical ERP and development expertise, analytical skills, project execution and business process knowledge.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Support/manage, configure, and troubleshoot activities and initiatives in the IFS ERP system.

  • Collaborate/direct 3rd party ERP support vendors.

  • Develop and maintain interfaces within IFS ERP system.

  • Ensure compliance with change management procedures

  • Recommend and implement system enhancements that improve efficiency.

  • Assist in developing reports, dashboards, and data analytics.

  • Work on system integrations, APIs, and data exchange formats.

  • Participate in testing, debugging, and deploying software solutions.

  • Provide technical support and training as needed.

  • Document technical specifications, workflows, and system configurations.

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify needs, evaluate technology solutions, project execution, and assist with process improvements.

Experience, Education and/or Training

  • Minimal 5 years of experience in Business Systems/ ERP role, preferably within a manufacturing environment

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or related Field

  • Proven experience with IFS ERP system administration and support.

  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.

  • Experience with database management, SQL, and data modeling.

  • Familiarity with system integration technologies and API development.

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

  • Self-motivated and proactive learner.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and execution.

  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain, or industrial operations.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to meet deadlines, set action items and follow-up on tasks to completion through a ticket system.
