As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems while delivering an exceptional customer experience and helping homeowners make informed decisions about their comfort systems.

Responsibilities What Will I Do?

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential heating and air conditioning systems

  • Perform comprehensive system evaluations to identify root causes of equipment issues

  • Service and maintain:

  • Air conditioners

  • Furnaces

  • Heat pumps

  • Indoor air quality systems

  • Thermostats and controls

  • Related HVAC components

  • Utilize diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively

  • Present repair options and recommendations clearly and professionally to homeowners

  • Educate customers on system operation, maintenance requirements, and energy-saving opportunities

  • Promote and explain the benefits of the CoolCare Maintenance Agreement

  • Identify opportunities to improve comfort, efficiency, reliability, and indoor air quality

  • Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service and communication

  • Accurately document service findings, completed work, and recommendations using company software platforms

  • Maintain compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures

  • Ensure all work is completed according to local, state, and national codes

Qualifications Do I have What it Takes?

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC service, maintenance, and repair experience

  • Proven experience diagnosing and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC system issues

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ServiceTitan

  • Industry certifications (EPA Certification preferred)

  • Previous experience working within residential home services

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review

  • Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoor environments

  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver HVAC equipment and materials
