Job Description
A Firm Administrator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a company, including managing staff, facilities, finances, and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth functionality and compliance with company policies, often reporting directly to senior management; key duties include budgeting, staff scheduling, IT management, and maintaining office infrastructure.

Pay Rate: $120 000-130 000
MAIN RESPOSNIBILITIES:

Managing the day-to-day operations of a law firm, overseeing non-attorney staff like legal assistants and paralegals, handling financial management including billing and budgeting, managing human resources, and ensuring smooth office operations by coordinating technology, facilities, and administrative tasks, all while working closely with attorneys to optimize efficiency and profitability. Financial Management:

Overseeing the billing and invoicing process, including client fee collection

Managing firm budget and expenses

Preparing financial reports and analyzing financial data Operations Management:

Maintaining office facilities and technology infrastructure

Managing office supplies and vendor relationships

Implementing and maintaining case management systems Human Resources:

Ensuring compliance with employment laws

Managing employee benefits and payroll Staff Management:

Hiring, training, and supervising non-attorney staff including legal assistants, paralegals, and administrative personnel.

A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or a related field is required.

At least five years of experience in a senior management position

With four (4) offices on Long Island, they are expanding and seek a firm administrator to work out of their Smithtown, NY Office. The position is full-time in the office. (3 days in Smithtown and 2 days at their other locations).
Salary is between 120K – 130K plus solid benefits
