Full job description
Design Engineer – Fire Suppression Location: Birmingham (office-based for first 6 months)
What you will do As a Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering high‑quality fire suppression system designs across regional projects. You will join our Fire Suppression Design Team based in Birmingham . To ensure full training, onboarding, and support, the role will be office‑based for the first 6 months . After this period, hybrid working will be available subject to performance and agreement with your Design Manager.
You will also attend occasional UK site visits for surveys, progress reviews, drawing mark-ups, and client design meetings.

- Complete Design Risk Assessments
- Maintain regular, clear communication with clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover from sales through to completion
What we look for Required:

Minimum 2 years’ experience with sprinkler/fire suppression systems

Ability to interpret design drawings and specifications

Preferred:
