Full job description
Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift
Description: The purpose of this position is to provide instruction for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Provides teaching and guidance to students taking ACLS and/or PALS courses.

Ensures classroom and supplies are prepared for class.

Follows teaching criteria outlined by the American Heart Association (AHA).

Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :

Certified ACLS and or PALS provider.

Current ACLS or PALS Instructor certifications or the ability to obtain with in 3 months of hire.

Ability to teach at a minimum of 1 class per month.

Ability to attend an annual, mandatory skills training/maintenance and sign-off session.

Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Previous teaching/training experience preferred.
