Security Officer - Patrol Driving Role

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driving Role in East Wenatchee, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and operate a vehicle as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial data center location.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.

• Monitor access points, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and assist with emergency response activities as directed.

• Report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and site management in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
