Job Description
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As an electrical engineer for GDMS, you will be part of a team that designs and improves new capabilities that improve our nation's national security. Our organization conducts R&D activities, bringing new concepts and products to our customers. We solve unique challenges that are often not seen in the commercial world, with agile teams that move on timelines that are much quicker than typical defense contractors.
We encourage you to apply if you have the following skills or experiences:
Breadth in electronic circuit design, including high-voltage power design and/or high-speed communications
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams to solve unique and nontraditional problems
Familiarity interfacing with software, mechanical, and systems engineering teams
What sets you apart:
Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
Not afraid to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency of design and review activities
Expert level understanding of electrical engineering and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design
Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in test, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects
Team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others

Workplace Options:
This position requires regular periods of onsite work, with occasional work from home and a flexible work schedule as program requirements permit.
Target salary range: USD $172,388.00/Yr. - USD $181,815.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
