Full job description

Our client in the transportation, logistics, supply chain, and storage industry, is seeking a Building Maintenance professional to join their team. As a Building Maintenance professional, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting asset management and inventory control. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, safety awareness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Building Maintenance

Location: Newton, IA

Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

  • Oversee warehouse asset operations, including receipt, storage, and distribution of assets.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits.

  • Record detailed asset information such as descriptions, serial numbers, quantities, and locations.

  • Optimize warehouse layout for efficiency and enforce safety protocols.

  • Handle general warehouse maintenance tasks.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1-2 years of building maintenance and warehouse experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.

  • Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.

  • Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, and order picker equipment safely.
