The Mission & The Work

  • Core Reliability & Security: Maintain, troubleshoot, and harden Glia’s cloud-native infrastructure and security posture.

  • Developer Enablement: Design and manage the CI/CD pipelines and telemetry tools that empower our product teams to ship with confidence.

Our Collaboration Model

We are a remote-first team distributed across Portugal, Poland, Estonia, and Canada, working across EET and EST timezones. While we embrace remote collaboration, we have offices in Tallinn and Tartu for those who prefer them. We also gather the full team in Estonia twice a year to innovate and connect in person.

Our tech stack

  • Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes (AWS EKS), Istio, APISIX

  • Persistence: Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, Apache Druid, Snowflake

  • Cache: Amazon ElastiCache for Redis

  • Event Streaming: Apache Kafka

  • Message Broker: RabbitMQ

  • Monitoring: DataDog

  • CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions

  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible

  • Programming Languages: Golang, Python.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in working with AWS cloud infrastructure and running containerized applications

  • Experience in building and maintaining reliable and highly available systems

  • At home with Linux/Unix tools and ecosystem

  • Infrastructure-as-Code enthusiast

  • Experience in coding that extends beyond scripting

  • Familiarity with core networking protocols and network troubleshooting

  • Proficiency in using AI tools thoughtfully, maintaining ownership of the final output while recognizing the tools' limitations

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
