ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a frontend focused Full Stack Engineer to build powerful, intuitive product experiences that help users understand and act on complex data.

You will primarily own our frontend systems and user experience while working across APIs, backend services, data models, and infrastructure when needed to deliver complete solutions. You will collaborate closely with product, design, AI, engineering, and customers to turn ambiguous problems into polished, production ready features.

This role requires more than strong execution. We are looking for someone who is highly proactive, takes full ownership of outcomes, and does not wait to be told what to do. You should naturally identify gaps, clarify ambiguity, surface risks early, and drive work forward across teams.

You will be an early and visible member of a small, fast moving engineering team, owning features from problem definition through launch and iteration, contributing to frontend architecture and product strategy, and helping shape the future of our products as we scale.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Own product features end to end, from initial problem definition through implementation, launch, adoption, and iteration

• Design and implement responsive, performant user interfaces using React and TypeScript

• Translate complex financial and operational workflows into simple, intuitive product experiences

• Work across frontend applications, APIs, backend services, and data models to deliver complete solutions

• Proactively identify product, usability, and technical gaps and drive them toward resolution

• Work directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand their workflows and uncover problems that may not yet have clearly defined requirements

• Collaborate across product, design, AI, and engineering to make decisions and ship quickly

• Help define frontend architecture and build reusable, scalable UI components

• Integrate frontend applications with APIs, services, and AI driven workflows

• Ship clean, testable, and maintainable code on a rapid release cycle

• Monitor how your work performs in production and take responsibility for fixing issues and improving outcomes

• Surface blockers, risks, and missed expectations early rather than waiting for them to become larger problems

• Advocate for the customer in product and engineering discussions

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 4 or more years of experience building production software, with deep expertise in frontend development and experience working across the stack

• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and frontend tooling

• Experience building or integrating with APIs, backend services, and production data systems

• Deep understanding of responsive design, browser performance, accessibility, and maintainable UI architecture

• A strong sense of ownership. You take responsibility for the quality, delivery, and impact of your work

• A highly proactive working style. You identify what needs to happen next and move it forward without waiting for detailed direction

• A bias for action. You make thoughtful, pragmatic tradeoffs and maintain momentum in ambiguous situations

• Strong product judgment and the ability to turn loosely defined customer problems into concrete solutions

• A customer obsessed mindset. You engage with users, understand their workflows, and translate their pain points into product improvements

• The ability to operate independently while collaborating closely with a fast moving team

• A habit of communicating progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly and early

• High standards for quality without allowing perfectionism to prevent shipping

• Comfort working in an environment where feedback comes directly from production users and enterprise partners

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Located in, or willing to relocate to, San Francisco

Our team typically works around 60 hours per week, beginning at 8:00 AM, with four days spent collaborating in person at our San Francisco office.
