Minimum Qualifications

Four years of experience in the construction, maintenance, or repair of roads, bridges, levees, drainage facilities, wharfs, buildings, or grounds; OR

Four years of experience in the operation or maintenance of industrial or heavy mobile equipment.

NOTE:

Experience in any combination of the qualifying fields will be accepted.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

  • Supervises the Mobile Equipment Operators performing maintenance to the highways and bridges.

  • Prepares daily labor and equipment report. Orders materials daily.

  • Guides and instructs assigned personnel to see that Highway Standards are met.

  • Conducts routine administration meetings and training.

  • Works emergencies at night.

  • May be required to perform other duties as necessary including, but not limited to, emergency/disaster support activities.

Appointment Type:T his position may be filled by probation, promotion or detail to special duty.

Career Progression: This position does not participate in Career Progression Group.

Work Schedule:Work hours may vary

Compensation: $24.10
