The salary is determined in accordance with the University’s compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates’ education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position.

This part-time, non-tenure track position within the Department of Physics will teach undergraduate courses in Physics in the Fall 2026 semester.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for teaching college level courses in Physics.

  • Keep records, post grades (mid-term & final), submit attendance.

  • Post and maintain regular office hours.

  • Other duties as assigned by department head.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Physics or related field.

  • 1-2 years' experience in applied field.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. degree in Physics

  • 3 plus years’ of experience in teaching college level courses in chemistry
