Overview:

Overview Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Our adult outpatient hospital rehabilitation therapy center is seeking a physical Therapist to join our team clinically focused in outpatient orthopedic/MSK/sports medicine care. We have a team of physical therapists, chiropractors and message.

Candidates should have training and certification in, or interested in obtaining training and certification in: manual therapy skills Maitland, Mulligan, Mckenzie, IASTM, BP Restriction, SFMA, Dry Needling.

Guild Education Benefits will cover costs for obtaining the training in most cases (ask more when applying).

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Master's Degree (Preferred)
  • Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy Certification/Licensure
  • Physical Therapist License (Required)

Experience

  • Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures.
  • Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training.
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes. Productive and efficient in daily operations.
  • Selects and performs the appropriate assessment procedures. Establishes and updates formal plan of care to address individual patient needs.
