Full job description

Waterloo, IA, USA | Mental Health Services | Full Time/Part Time

| Total Compensation Package

We are seeking a Full time/Part time Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to work with a team of experienced and licensed Clinical supervisors in providing virtual, in-person therapy, and counseling to couples, families, adults, and children in Waterloo, Cedar Falls and the surrounding Black Hawk County.

At LSI, we are dedicated to wrapping compassionate care around the children and families we are privileged to serve. Our therapists are central to our mission and serve as expert advisors to LSI's early childhood, behavioral health, and family safety teams.

What You'll Do

  • Provide community-based therapy and counseling assessments

  • Serve a diverse population of children, adults, couples, and families

  • Develop individual treatment plans to fully address each client's various behavioral and mental health care needs

  • Manage case plan oversight and re-evaluate as necessary to build the best possible outcomes for our clients

  • Qualifying candidates have the ability to receive free clinical licensure supervision from one of our Clinical Supervisors

What You'll Need

  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling or another approved related field (LMFT,LMHC)

  • Must be licensed in the state of Iowa (temporary and provisionally licensed applicants are encouraged to apply!)

  • Strong organization and time management skills

  • Strong computer skills, including electronic client care databases and MS Office software

  • Flexible availability - evening and weekend hours may be required to meet the needs of clients
