Full job description

We are currently hiring for a Specialist, HR Credentialling to join our onboarding team. This will be a full-time, remote role, located in the United States.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Works in parallel with screening vendor to verify and confirm all elements of assigned pre-employment background checks to ensure target start dates are met.

  • Orders drug screens, medical services and assist vendor with scheduling and collecting vaccines, immunity and drug testing results. Create and file all supporting pre-employment documentation used and received during the pre-screen process for all assigned candidates.

  • Delivers verbal and electronic pre-adverse action to candidates who do not meet the company’s pre-employment screening policy.

  • Acts as a liaison between screening vendor, candidates and talent acquisition team.

  • Provides one on one credentialing support to internal, external customers and new hires to assist with on-site clearance, meeting and maintaining the company and customer policy for patient-facing team members.

  • Schedule ad hoc drug tests, background checks and medical services while monitoring progress and providing the necessary information upon completion to support the business with staffing sites.

  • Provide credentialing progress updates on new hires and existing Team Member to Recruiters, Managers, and HR Operations.

  • Utilizes credentialing database to maintain credentialing data including, but not limited to creating new hire credentialing profiles, process ongoing credentialing updates, such as primary source verifications, immunization records, annual TB documentation, etc.

  • Manage and process the HR Credentialing inbox to meet or exceed agreed internal SLA.

  • Support all metric reporting efforts by ensuring all trackers are updated timely including customer requests, candidate status, screening vendor issues, etc.

  • Respond to customer requests for credentialing packets for audits, new site start-up and newly assigned contract staff. Interpret credentialing policies and effectively communicate those policies to all client groups (Team Members, Managers, Hospital Customers, Joint Commission/ACR/Department of Health surveyors and HR team).

  • Stay abreast of changing the company policies, Joint Commission/ACR/State Department of Health and Customer credentialing requirements.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a human resource or clinical credentialling specialist role.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

  • 2 years of experience in a Human Resources position or similar.

  • Experience with performing pre-employment background checks, drug screening and medical services.

  • Experience in responding to accreditation, department of health and government survey.

  • Familiarity with radiologic technology certification boards.
