Description
The In Community Therapist will assess need for treatment, document and deliver clinical evidenced- based behavioral health services to youth and their families in a community-based setting. Design and provide clinical interventions, teach staff and actively participate on the treatment team to enable youth to reach their highest levels of independence in the community. Will perform all duties necessary to meet state approved objectives, including the requirement that the employee cooperate with the licensee and Department of Children and Families (DCF) staff in any inspection or investigation. Plans, organizes, and implements clinical social work/counseling services including psychotherapy to Consumers and families under the clinical supervision of a qualified supervisor.

Part-time; eligible for NJ Earned Sick Time
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or other behavioral science program approved for clinical licensure. Must have either a LAC, LSW, LPC or LCSW. Maintain professional license and continuing education requirements as per their credentialing board. Have secured or will secure and maintain Strength and Needs Assessment certification within 30 days of employment, and maintain it as required by DCF.
