Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will conduct and attend meetings and site visits to identify facility issues, facilitate work execution, and advise on supported command projects. You will perform work monitoring to ensure facilities assignments are being completed in a timely manner. You will ensure that MAXIMO reflects an accurate inventory for assigned buildings. You will monitor services and expenditures to ensure proper availability of funds. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Working directly with customers to ensure work efforts meet facilities operation requirements; 2) Applying technical principles, directives, and methods of facilities management to maintain facilities and facility equipment in good working order; 3) Evaluating service requirements and demands to determine funding for facilities and equipment using cost estimates and cost analysis techniques; and 4) Identifying, prioritizing, and initiating projects to be placed on Maintenance Action Plans (MAPs) and Maintenance Execution Plans (MEPs) and Long Range Maintenance Plan (LRMP) for assigned facilities and programs. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
