Full job description
A probationary monitor position in the Elementary School. 9:20am - 3:20pm. Start 9.1.26.

Monitors and supervises students in a variety of settings including but not limited to the cafeteria, playgrounds, hallways, foyer or classrooms.

Maintains a constructive learning environment when working in the classroom/study hall/detention room settings.

Maintains a safe and orderly environment for our students while on the playgrounds, in the cafeteria, study halls and hallways.

Follows and enforces the rules set forth for playground behavior, proper use of playground equipment, dinning in the cafeteria, study halls, detention centers, etc.

Works cooperatively with the Building Principal and teachers to be aware of expectations for student’s behavior.

Safely supervise students during their daily playground, lunch periods and study halls.

Carries out any other duties as assigned by the building principal and/or responsibilities, which may be deemed appropriate by the classroom teachers.

High School diploma.

Sincere interest in working with students.

The ability to supervise, manage and control students in a variety of situations.

The ability to write and/or keep accurate records.
