Home Health Care Aide (HHA) / PCA - Live-In Caregiver

Job Summary:

Ideal Home Care Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Aide (HHA) / PCA - Live-In Caregiver to join our team of professionals providing in-home care services to seniors and individuals with special needs. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will provide one-on-one care and support to our clients in their own homes, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and household tasks. Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Assist with medication management and administration under the supervision of a licensed nurse

  • Prepare meals and snacks, and assist with light housekeeping and laundry

  • Monitor and report changes in client condition to the nursing team

  • Maintain accurate records of client care and services provided

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Completion of a Home Health Aide (HHA) training program or PCA certification

  • 1+ year of experience in a home care or related setting

  • Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients, with or without the use of assistive devices

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
