SIGN-ON BONUS: $500 for Full-Time Cooks!
Schedule: Full-Time Day/Evening Shift
Pay Range: $19.30 - $22.19/hour (based on experience)

Position Summary:
The Cook is responsible for preparing and distributing high-quality meals for patients, residents, and non-patient dining services. This position plays an important role in ensuring meals are safe, appealing, and prepared according to established recipes, production schedules, and food safety standards.
What You’ll Do:

Prepare meals according to recipes, production schedules, and portion guidelines

Provide attractive and well-presented meal trays for patients and residents

Follow HACCP food safety standards and proper sanitation practices

Monitor food temperatures and complete required documentation

Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, storage, and cooler areas

Help ensure food quality while minimizing waste

Participate in culinary planning and department meetings

Support a positive, team-focused work environment
Qualifications:
Required:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum 1 year of previous cooking experience
Preferred:

Previous cooking experience following HACCP standards

Two years of culinary education or formal training

Experience in healthcare food service or related food service operations
Skills:

Ability to read and follow recipes and production instructions
