Role Overview
We are seeking a former rehabilitation clinician who has moved into sales to own bottom-up expansion and re-orders inside our strategic hospital-system accounts. Working the hospital-level ground game while senior leadership owns the enterprise relationship, you will drive utilization-based expansion, run quarterly business reviews, and close re-orders across existing chain hospitals for our Rise&Walk InClinic robotic platform. This role rewards relationship depth and clinical credibility as much as competitive sales drive.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive expansion conversations into existing chain hospitals.
- Close re-orders and expansions against an annual unit quota.
- Educate additional customer sites on our technology.
- Partner with the clinical team on utilization-triggered upsell at high-adoption sites, bringing genuine clinical credibility to the conversation.
- Maintain account plans, accurate forecasts, and disciplined CRM hygiene.
- Coordinate with senior leadership on enterprise and HQ-level relationships. Candidate Profile
This role is built for a former clinician who has moved into sales. Real clinical credibility (ideally a licensed Physical Therapist) with hands-on experience in an inpatient rehabilitation (IRF) or long-term acute care (LTACH) setting is essential, paired with the relationship depth and competitive drive to expand existing accounts. We hire experienced sellers; we do not train first-time salespeople.
-
Clinical credibility: a former clinician, preferably a licensed PT (DPT), who speaks the language of utilization and clinical adoption with therapists and hospital leadership.
-
Relationship builder: earns trust with clinicians and hospital leadership and expands from within.
-
Competitive: owns a quota and plays to win on expansion and re-orders.
-
Consultative: comfortable running QBRs and multi-stakeholder expansion conversations.
-
Mission-minded: motivated by restoring mobility for patients. Basic Qualifications
-
Former clinical experience in physical rehabilitation; a licensed Physical Therapist (PT/DPT) is strongly preferred.
-
Hands-on clinical experience in an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) or long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) setting.
-
2+ years of medical device, capital equipment, rehabilitation technology, or healthcare sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota. We hire proven sellers, not first-time sales hires.
-
Willingness to travel approximately 25-30% (hospital visits, QBRs, and conferences).
-
Authorization to work in the USA (we do not sponsor H1B).
-
Fluent in English. Preferred Qualifications
-
Clinical experience in a setting that used rehabilitation robotics or other advanced rehab technology.
-
Capital-equipment or capital-budget experience (how facilities budget for and purchase capital equipment).
-
Experience selling or expanding within hospital systems or integrated delivery networks (IDNs).
-
Capital-equipment or Robotics-as-a-Service expansion and renewal experience. About Healing Innovations
